TEACHING AND SUPERVISION

as course conveners for several subjects including :

  • Reproductive Health, for postgraduate students in Public Health.
  • Health Promotion, for undergraduate and postgraduate students in Public Health. In this subjects, program planning, program monitoring and evaluation, community development, and community participation, advocacy and lobbying skills are discussed
  • Sexual Health and HIV/AIDS, for Postgraduate students in Public Health. HIV/AIDS related issues and effective intervention programs to alleviate the problems are part of the topics covered in this subject
  • Research Skills in Public Health, for undergraduate and postgraduate students in Public Health.
  • Supervision : supervising undergraduate students for field placement at VCT clinics in Denpasar area, HIV-related NGOs, and Provincial Aids Committee.
  • Supervision of student’s major project on areas of reproductive health and HIV/AIDS

COMMUNITY SERVICES

Program Manager – for Comprehensive PMTCT Project at Kerti Praja Foundation (June 2010/Dec 2010)
Responsibilities include:

  • Manage technical and administrative coordination with health office, community health care services, private midwive clinics, and VCT clinics for referral of pregnant women to the VCT clinics
  • Organise and facilitate group meeting for HIV positive women, including facilitate knowledge-sharing among HIV positive women on reproductive health issues of women living with HIV.
  • Oversee interventions conducted to enhance referral to VCT clinics for pregnant women by midwives
  • Plan, monitor and evaluate the implementation of the Comprehensive PMTCT Project in Bali
